About Us

Urban Tail Co. was founded because of my dog, Chewy. Chewy was the sweetest little Shih Tzu with such a fun and energetic personality. As he aged, the first thing that started to affect him was his lower back, so he was unable to jump up on the bed, and struggled to get up and down from the couch. Then, as time went on, he started to lose his vision. While he was physically able to get up and down from the couch, though with struggle, he now couldn't see where he was jumping. Soon enough, he was no longer to move vertically without assistance. I knew there had to be a better way, which is when I started on this journey.

We started with steps and ramps for dogs who struggled to get around, just like Chewy. And since that start, we've expanded into other areas of dog-related items that make transportation with dogs easier for both you and your furry friend. As we continue to grow, our hope is to help as many pet owners and pups as possible.
